The orchid is considered to be a strong flower. However after the long journey from Thailand the flowers may lose moisture due to the long transportation time. Upon receipt, we recommend that you do the following to extend the life and beauty of your flowers:

If you are a wholesaler:

Keep in cool environment about 45-50 degrees farenheint (7-10 degrees celsius)
Stand the orchids up to allow them to drink the water from the water tubes

If you are an end user:
Remove orchids from their container
Cut roughly 0.5 inch off the bottom of the orchid stems. Cut on a diagonal.
Mist the stalks and blooms to restore freshness. If the orchids look very tired, immerse the entire stalks in water for a couple of minutes
Put the orchids in a vase of clean water, add flower food to prolong the life of the blooms
Recut stems and change the water every few days
